DenkiQujira firmly cemented their spot in my "Favourite Vocaloid Producers" list this year. This is a relatively short song about a kid becoming obsessed with the ghost of his dead friend. And I do believe that this is my favourite Vocaloid song that released this year, 15 days into the year. It may be one of the best Vocaloid songs ever to me. I don't even think I can describe why I love it so much. DenkiQujira's works often have this melancholic surreal nature that I am obsessed with, and I also find the more childlike perspective on death & loneliness & losing a friend to be really interesting. The video is amazing, the story it manages to tell, the lyrics.. It's all amazing. May this unseen grief never pierce through your heart and vanish!
For the sanity of myself and everyone in my life I will not include any other DenkiQujira songs. I really really recommend listening to their 2025 album.

I usually do not touch on DECO*27 songs on this website anymore. Mostly because if you know Miku, you know DECO*27- I don't have anything original to add to this conversation. A lot of his recent (...~post GHOST. I'm old....) songs to me usually boil down to; "Wow! This is really impressive, even if it's not my thing.", and I wouldn't really consider any of them up there with my "favourites".
Until this song, for some reason. It's incredibly unserious, goofy, full of random references and memes- it's essentially his "internet brainrot" song. The video is ridiculous. But oh my god, it's the catchiest song I've listened to this year. It's so good. I think the bass is my favourite part, but it's so full of fun noises. I love the synths too...

Umicha released a 3-song series over the span of a month, concluding with the winner of the 2025 Summer Vocaloid Collection, "Lower the Curtain, onto the Parade". All three songs are amazing, but this one is my favourite. I think it's really cool how far they have taken the "nameless"-inspired (K████ inspired.. I don't know what people call them?) song style. It's barely that anymore, we are in some entirely new territory, it's awesome. And nekomos pixel animations are always so impressive.

I don't have the most to say about this one, despite it being the song I listened to the most in 2025. I was thinking a lot about "the right way to live" this year, so it ended up on repeat a lot. It's a really easy song to just keep listening to, repetitive(in a good way!) and tragically short... Just so good. I hope for more Sohbana works in 2026.

It had been so long since I last heard from aoris, I almost could not believe this was the same producer that made dependancer. This song is just so different from anything else of theirs I had heard before. A bunch of old memes and references, lyrics about suicidal thoughts and internet slang, cute animations, like 5 key changes, and some really unique Teto tuning. It's hip and trendy. It's a great song!

MACHINA MORI was probably my favourite Vocaloid project to come out in 2025. It really introduced me to so many English producers I didn't know existed. It's hard to choose a favourite from the album, but I really like this one. It's the first song, and it was amazing to listen to for the first time and realize ohhh.. it's going to be a really good album.. It's already a really good album. And I can't lie she's singing too fast to even understand what she's saying most of the song, but I really love the lyrics. I enjoy when a robot is fine with the way it is and doesn't care to be human. I am fond of robots & robot autism. Thank you.

r-906 might be one of the best vocaloid producers out there. This song is technically from a compilation album released late 2024, but wasn't uploaded with an mv until 2025, and it's so good that I want it to be included. The Miku tuning is insane, and so is the instrumental. It's all amazing.

This song is already on two other pages on this website, I don't have much else to say about it. I like it. Attention Vocaloid Producers: More Teto Una duets please!!!!!!!

This is an uncommon duo, and two of my favourite vsynths!!!!!!! Criminally short. The instrumental is so catchy and chaotic. I really like itttt....(Same thing I say about every song here, like it's not my top 10...)
